FMS Provided an objective and technical analysis of the physical condition of each facility, identified the cost required to bring the buildings to a standard condition while addressing both the building deficiencies and necessary improvements. We then developed an implementation strategy for improving and upgrading the buildings based on a prioritization of equipment and system-wide needs.

FM Solutions collaborated with NiSource’s regional teams to evaluate the current facilities maintenance operations within their organization in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts and Maryland.

The phased evaluation included benchmarking the current performance, identification of the industry best practice concepts, FM staffing analysis, determination of client/user satisfaction, organizational efficiency changes, financial impact analysis, identification of potential cost savings, and the development of an action plan to implement any recommendations made.
