CITY OF TEMPE POLICE DEPARTMENT - REAL TIME OPERATIONS CENTER

The scope of this mission critical project consists of creating a Real Time Operations Center (RTOC) to provide the police department the ability to monitor and coordinate activity on a real time basis in support of police and fire operations. FMS services included professional architectural design, subconsultant engineering design and coordination, FMS architectural plant registrant review of CDs, construction administration, progress inspections, and construction management services with the JOC contractor.
FMS created coordinated and managed the scope of services contained in the construction documents, provided oversight of the JOC Contractor, installation of the custom console furniture system, coordinated the schedule and budget for this mission critical facility CIP project. Compliance with design specifications, ADA, I/T, security, safety, and client satisfaction were the priorities for this project. FMS provided the city with additional services to create customized logos, custom lighting, and signage for this mission critical space. For Phase II of this project FMS and project stakeholders will address the backup cooling in the server room.
