Nourish Phoenix is a non-profit organization that “provides an immediate response to basic human needs”, for working poor families, seniors on a fixed income, and the mentally and physically disabled.  They serve over 120,000 total individuals each year with food boxes, clothing, toiletries, case management, a wellness center and other essential items.

Our community outreach team enthusiastically contributes to the Thanksgiving spirit by donating canned and non-perishable food items, as well as turkeys, when distributing food boxes each year. The event, aptly named the “Turkey Sling,” is a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved. Not only do our volunteers get a great workout “slinging” turkeys and food boxes, but they also make a meaningful impact in our community.
