ADA Deficiency Correction and Compliance Management
Facilities Management Services (FMS) successfully managed the design and construction process to address ADA deficiencies identified by an inspection conducted by Life Quest Training & Consulting, LLC. FMS provided comprehensive ADA-compliant construction documents for deficiencies requiring design solutions and detailed narrative descriptions for those that did not.
In partnership with the City of Tempe and utilizing the Job Order Contracting (JOC) process, FMS coordinated closely with contractors to deliver cost estimates and oversee on-site construction activities. FMS ensured all corrections adhered to ADA standards and completed the “Plant Registrant” plan review process with the City of Tempe Community Development. This thorough project management approach guaranteed compliance with accessibility standards and improved inclusivity across the facilities.
