The building programmed was a 2 story building measuring approximately 7,000 gross square feet. Also included in the programming of the site was a bus transfer station capable of accommodating eight buses and up to 200 passengers at once. The facility is currently under construction in Grand Junction, Colorado and is near completion. Occupants upon move in shall be the Mesa County Regional Transportation Planning Office (RTPO) and their contractor, Laidlaw Transit Services. The program accommodates 10 years of employee growth. Conceptual floor plans and site plans were developed to verify that the recommended space requirements were sufficient and to demonstrate how the concepts of Universal Design could be implemented.
