Building Component Inventory and a 10-Year Facility Master Plan. The Building Component Inventory was a visual inspection of 25 facilities totaling over 786,758 Square Feet for a condition assessment of the interior components. The Master Plan included benchmarking of their facilities in terms of operations and maintenance, and space usage. Recommendations were made to improve functional efficiency, flexibility and cost savings for their 786,758 GSF portfolio.
Specific Details: The 10 Year Master Plan addressed needs that were specific to Olathe in terms of departmental alignments and the location and condition of the Data Center. FM Solutions along with City of Olathe leadership developed a long-term plan addressing their needs in a cost effective and minimally disruptive scenario.
