Mesa County selected FM Solutions to conduct a "Space Needs Assessment" and update the "10-year Master Plan" that would help the county effectively allocate County resources and provide services to the constituents of this rapidly growing community. FM Solutions presented three priced Master Plan scenarios to the County. Mesa County selected a scenario that utilizes "Satellite Facilities" to house County functions in outlying towns. These Satellite Facilities reduce the drive time to 20 minutes or less for a majority of the County citizens. During the Space Assessment, FMS helped the county develop a new "Universal Design".
